HEATING · COOLING · AIR TREATMENT

With the continuous growing quality of constructions, and the change of climate conditions, modern systems have to take care of heating, cooling and air treatment, by maximising comfort and energy saving for the users.

Saving energy starts with your thermostat

  • It knows when you are away

When you leave your house, it turns itself down. So you are not heating or cooling an empty home.

  • It learns about your home

How long does it take to heat up or cool down? How drafty is it? Tycroc Smart One helps your home’s system work more efficiently.

  • Control it from everywhere

With the Smart365 app, your thermostat is on your phone. Adjust the temperature from anywhere.

  • App for android / ios smartphones and tablets, also available for web browsers on pc. The user controls all homes from a single app, even remotely.

  • All data are kept with the most modern procedures and technologies to guarantee the security and protection of the user’s privacy.

  • All settings will be synchronized with the system, even if temporarily there is no internet connectivity.

  • The app allows the user to control all the functionalities of the system.
  • The web portal allows the management of the user account, for the visualization of graphs and data, download of guides and manuals, assistance, after-market services, contacts and messaging. The web portal can also be used by specialized personnel (installer, service centre) with access to technical data and direct assistance.
  • Geolocation allows the setting of quick rules to be executed «when i go out, when I come back». The user’s position is not monitored.
  • Indoor air quality monitoring
  • Capacitive 4” touchscreen with multitouch technology
  • Two analogue input and two digital outputs to control one zone heating+cooling or optional two heating zones
  • Temperature, humidity and air quality sensor optional screed or condensation sensor

With the Tycroc SmartOne system, each room is connected into one virtual system to optimize the energy consumption and maximise the comfort.

Air quality sensor

A new VOC (volatile organic compounds) sensor measuring air quality is added to the latest generation of the devices. To read the air quality index in a room simply swipe to the right from the main screen. On the screen, one of

the air quality statuses will be displayed (very poor, poor, mediocre, acceptable, good, and excellent) and below the status, an advice suggesting a possible action to improve the air quality.

The overall goal is to maintain an excellent quality in the indoor environment you live in. From very poor air quality to excellent pure air, the system will give you some advice to increase your well-being.

Pid regulation strategy

Traditional on/off thermostats do not react to every small change in room temperature. As temperature is never completely stable in a room, this brings the system to a continuous temperature change and energy loss. The EN15316-2, shows how this aff ects the surface temperature of the system and defi nes that the PI (and PID) regulation strategies brings a higher efficiency for the whole system.

Optimum start & stop

Common thermostats operate to set the temperature in the environment exactly as scheduled by the user. Since different systems have different inertia, this may lead to comfort and energy losses. The comfort system keeps tracking the responses of each room, adjusting the actual start and stop timings of the system, to gain comfort and save energy.

Energy saving and comfort living mode:

The user can set the most suitable operating mode according to the type of environment, with an eye to consumption or push the system to maximum comfort.
